New Day
New Day takes over where Operation
Saturation (OpSat) left off. It is a plan to reach Haiti for Christ. Operation Saturation was completed in 2004.
Here's what took place:
- Construction of a new broadcast center adequate to house needed staff and new equipment.
- Equipped the new broadcast center with state-of-the-art technology to reach all of Haiti as well as Haitians in the Caribbean.
- Saturated Haiti with tens-of-thousands of small, fix-tuned, solar-powered
radios to receive the ministry of Radio 4VEH. Needs to expand
into areas where there are new and partner stations.
- Launched a major evangelistic radio campaign to reach all of Haiti through
the fix-tuned radios. Needs to continue.
- Began a radio network by partnering with existing radio stations and constructing
new radio stations. Needs to be completed.
- Through creative radio programming ministered to new believers, new and
existing churches while training Haitian lay people to reach and
nurture their own countrymen. Needs funding to continue.
- Through creative endowed funding, underwrote much of the ongoing operational
expense. Needs continued funding.
New Day is helping to see these goals expand with the
reach of radio in Haiti now extending to Haitians world wide.
